What is Kybella?

Kybella is a refined version of a substance called deoxycholic acid, which is naturally produced by your body. Deoxycholic acid’s primary role is assisting with fat absorption.

How Does Kybella Work?

It destroys fat cells wherever it is injected, causing them to be absorbed by the body. When injected into the fat beneath your chin, Kybella causes the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat. This makes Kybella an innovative and ideal new way for patients to gain some of the benefits of liposuction for a double chin without surgery. Prior to approval in May of 2015 by the Food and Drug Administration, Kybella was the subject of medical trials that included more than 1,000 individuals. The results showed that eight out of ten people who received Kybella had a loss of chin fat.

What an amazing office and staff! I started going to Sam about a year before my wedding in May 2021 with a few concerns I had with my skin and just overall getting it wedding ready.
