YOUR PICO TATTOO REMOVAL CONSULTATION
A laser tattoo removal consultation will involve an assessment of your tattoo, including factors like location, color, size, and age. Your medical history will also be discussed.

Your provider will give you an overview of the treatment plan and will tell you how many treatment sessions will be necessary for optimal results. She will also give you instructions for aftercare during the consultation.
PICO LASER TATTOO REMOVAL AFTERCARE
After a Pico laser tattoo removal session, you may be asked to cover the treated area with a healing ointment during the first three days. Your provider will recommend the proper ointment for excellent results. Do not use any other skincare products or makeup on the treated area.

Keep the treated skin clean and dry. You may be asked to apply Vaseline or hydrocortisone cream to help your skin stay moisturized and speed up the healing process.

Since laser tattoo removal makes the skin more sensitive for a time, you will need to avoid direct sun exposure to prevent skin damage. Apply sunblock with at least SPF 30 to keep the skin healthy during recovery.
AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR PICO TATTOO REMOVAL?
The best candidates for Pico laser tattoo removal are healthy individuals who want to get a tattoo removed. If the tattoo has been created recently, the skin must be fully healed before removal can take place. Most people need 8 to 16 weeks to completely heal their skin after a tattoo, but the process is different for everyone.

Brand new tattoos are more difficult to remove, since these have not yet faded due to sun exposure and the aging process. Candidates with freshly healed tattoos may need more sessions of laser tattoo removal.

Pico laser tattoo removal can completely remove a tattoo, but it cannot return the skin to its pre-tattoo condition. The best candidates for this laser treatment are people with realistic expectations.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
WHAT IS KYBELLA?Kybella is a refined version of a substance called deoxycholic acid, which is naturally produced by your body. Deoxycholic acid’s primary role is assisting with fat absorption.
-
HOW DOES KYBELLA WORK?It destroys fat cells wherever it is injected, causing them to be absorbed by the body. When injected into the fat beneath your chin, Kybella causes the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat. This makes Kybella an innovative and ideal new way for patients to gain some of the benefits of liposuction for a double chin without surgery. Prior to approval in May of 2015 by the Food and Drug Administration, Kybella was the subject of medical trials that included more than 1,000 individuals. The results showed that eight out of ten people who received Kybella had a loss of chin fat.
-
WHY CHOOSE KYBELLA?Most people who have a double chin feel self-conscious about the fullness. To make matters worse, extra fat in this region may not go away with diet and exercise. A lot of individuals who struggle with double chins avoid liposuction for their problem because they worry about the costs, downtime, and invasiveness. Fortunately, Kybella offers a cutting-edge new way to solve double chins without these obstacles.
-
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?Many patients experience visible contouring of their chin profile in two to four treatment sessions spaced at least one month apart on average. Once the desired aesthetic response is achieved with Kybella, re-treatment is not expected.
